The 2024 Mercedes EQE is a luxury electric sedan built on the same platform as the EQS, but with a shorter length. The EQE SUV, which shares the same architecture, offers more cargo space. The EQE is a competitor to the Genesis G80 Electric and BMW i5.

Technologies

The EQE includes a standard 12.8-inch touchscreen display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, a wireless phone charger and heated front seats. The AMG EQE53 and EQE500 models feature the three-screen Hyperscreen display.

Opinion

The EQE-Class has a distinctive aerodynamic design, but the impressive details are inside the car. The interior includes leather seats with quilted upholstery, interesting display graphics and dual-zone air conditioning for the second row. As a cruiser, the EQE provides a luxurious and quiet ride, although the standard models are not as fast as the AMG versions. The maneuverability provided by the optional rear-wheel steering makes the car comfortable to drive in urban conditions.
